Tourism

In a territory that favours research, situated between sea and countryside, Plouzané draws its identity and singularity in the multiple facets of its heritage: historical buildings, remarkable natural sites, walking paths, scientific or cultural events, ... everyone can discover the commune at their leisure.

Historical Heritage

Steles, wayside crosses, churches, chapels, fountains, forts and a lighthouse bear witness to the history of the commune. Dating from the Iron Age, or from a more recent past, they all present an interest to be discovered.

You can consult the Hystory and Heritage pages of this website.

Natural sites

Along the shore, the GR 34 walking trail will lead you from the small port of Saint Anne du Portzic to the Deolen point, passing by the Dellec fort, a magnificent green setting that overlooks the narrows of the bay of Brest.
On arrival at the Minou Lighthouse, you can just relax on the beach or jump into the waves of this renowned surfing spot.
Landward side, the Nevent valley offers a very pleasant landscape suited for trail walking. Finally, in the North of the commune, straddling the boundaries of Guilers, Brest and Plouzané, the Bodonoù sandpit is a remarkable site for its biodiversity. A signposted trail allows you to explore it.
These places of tranquillity are an invitation to escape, to travel, and poetry…
